Junior Rugby Coordinator
Mancunians is Manchester’s Dual Code Rugby club offering Rugby League in the summer months and Rugby Union in the winter. Working all over Manchester providing after school clubs, teaching cover and assisting schools to run sports teams, the club has a 20:20 vision of getting 1,000 people active regularly in the various sports we offer and has a long-term goal to be a professional club.
Maybe you’re a player or coach at a club that isn’t going in the direction that you want it to but, you have the drive, experience and ambition to take a developing club onto the next level? If so, come and join us!
We’re looking for the correct person to be our Junior Rugby Coordinator and develop our processes in both codes of rugby so that our offer is unrivalled and our coaches deliver quality sessions to all our players, co-owners and community partners.
This is a new, exciting, part-time, role which would suit someone who has several years of coaching experience or who is a current sports development or performance professional and who wants to assist an ambitious club to grow.
Advising the board of directors, you will lead and mentor a group of coaches and volunteers who will look to you for inspiration and advice. We currently have a growing group of ‘Rugby Kidz’ at the under 6 age group, a growing group of children who play festivals at U7’s, U9’s eg groups and we would like to further develop these teams in both codes of rugby and build a year round club.
This is a new, exciting role and we would be looking to you to develop your own job description following consultation with the club.
